Hey Panels-Team, you have built an amazing app and i absolutley love it. I would love it even more if this app had a support for WEBP. Is there anything planed?

WebP support is already in our roadmap and we’d live to implement it soon. I can’t give you a time frame but it’s definitely on the top of our list.
Not sure if it makes a difference, but I wanted to let you know that I’m also looking forward to the webp implementation.

You might want to know that the next release will have webp support 
If you’re not in the Beta channel, you might want to give it a try and give us feedback about the webp support. If you haven’t joined, you can do it by opening the following link on your iPhone/iPad.
Decoding a webp image takes a bit longer than a jpeg/png, so page loading is slightly slower. But we’ve implemented a cache so we only have to decode pages once per session. Also, all Panels readers pre-load pages in the background, so you shouldn’t notice anything different unless you jump to another page (not adjacent) right when you open the comic.
