Reading Progress Statistics & Monthly Reading Insights

I’ve really been enjoying using Panels to organize and read my comic collection. It’s fast, clean, and one of the best reading experiences I’ve tried.

One feature I’d love to see is a Reading Insights section that provides personal reading statistics, such as:

  • :books: Comics read this week/month
  • :stopwatch: Total reading time
  • :open_book: Pages read
  • :fire: Reading streaks
  • :star: Most-read series and authors
  • :date: Monthly reading summary

These insights could motivate users to keep reading and make it easier to track progress over time. It could also be fun to share achievements like “100 comics completed” or “30-day reading streak.”

Really glad to hear you’re enjoying Panels.

As you may know, we’re currently working on Panels 4 (a new set of premium features), and reading insights is indeed one of the features we’re working on. We’re really excited about it and hope to share more details soon.

Not everything we have planned may make it into the first release, but we’ll continue improving and expanding it over time. A lot of what you suggested is very much in line with what we have.

I’d also encourage you to join our Discord. We share sneak peeks there and will most likely be looking for beta testers as we get closer to release. It would be great to have your feedback on this feature in particular!
