Started using the app for a lot of my technical documents and then realised, there is no search.
Could we please get an internal document search? IE open document, search for “nuts” and it brings up a list of pages with the word “nuts” that you click in and it takes you to it? (Maybe in the list show a few words either side kinda thing)
Gutted this isn’t available right now!
That’s out of our scope right now.
Panels is designed for comic reading, not other kinds of documents. And in-document search is not a feature you’d normally expect/need in a comic reader.
Maybe we can consider adding something like this in the long term when other comic priorities have been solved. But for now, there are other priorities for us.

Fully understood and like you say not something you would expect in a comic reader.
I hope you add it in later down the line, I am aware of people whom use this app for game rulebooks where searching is obviously handy and others whom may need a search.
And why? Because there is very little in the way of apps that provide a self hosted ability for PDFs/ epubs in iOS.
