When the panel goes out to the edge of the page the scrollbar temporarily obscures art, there should be an option to remove it.
I’d also prefer the option to keep the menu as a single column while the screen is horizontal, and a plain white-on-black theme (the “hacker” theme minus the color) would be nice.
