But, half of my *.epub collection is unreadable and looks like this. Any idea why?
We are working on detecting text epubs to prevent them from opening on Panels.
ePUB is a multi-purpose publication container, and Panels only supports comic ePUBs with fixed-size pages.
Text ePUBs need resizable containers, which doesn’t work with our readers and features in the readers.
Once we find a good way to distinguish text and comic ePUBs, we will block them from opening and inform them that we don’t support that kind of ePUB, if that makes sense.
If you need a good EPUB reader for actual books, Yomu is what I use. Between it and Panels, all my book needs are met
