Can't import from Komga v1.19.1 on Panels 2 iPad MD510NF/A / ios 10.3.3

I have 2 ipads, on my recent iPad Air M1 i can connect to the Komga server with Panels 3 without any issue.
My other iPad is very old and is stuck on ios 10.3.3.
Only Panels 2 can be installed on this iPad and i’d like to be able to use it with my Komga server.

My first question concerns premium feature, Panels 3 lifetime premium is unlocked on the Ipad Air this purchase can’t be used to unlock Panels 2 premium on the Ipad with ios 10.3.3, is this normal ?

On Panels 2 i see that there’s no OPDS import feature, only an Ubiquity one that i hoped i could use for my Komga server instead.
Do you think that it could be done or do i waste my time trying ?

Thanks

Hey @kariboupseudo

That is correct. Even though Panels 3 unlocks all the Panles 2 features, it can’t retroactively enable the same purchases on older devices, because Panels 2 is a different product.
Drop us an email at support@panels.app so we can verify your Panels 3 purchase, and I’ll send you a promo code for Panels 2 so you can unlock it on older devices without having to pay for it.

That sounds like an ancient version of Panels. I didn’t even remember we had a version with Ubooquity support instead of OPDS  I think the importer should work, nonetheless. Because it’s the same protocol. I think it is worth trying :man_shrugging: Unfortunately, we can’t give you any support, as Apple does not allow publishing updates for older versions.

But, hopefully, enabling Panels 2 on your older device works and you can use it.
