First of all, thank you very much for purchasing the app and support Panels 
We might need to add a footnote, I agree is not very descriptive. Basically, some comic pages can be quite big (in size) which can take some time for the device to process (especially older devices).
If you are experiencing that new pages take some time to load, you can turn this option on and Panels will compress images before rendering them in the screen. You may lose some quality, but the pages will render faster.
