Am I right in saying that—when you are in “Panel View”—you cannot directly access Settings or return to the Library screen? It seems you have to return to “Default” to do so.
Might it be possible to allow tapping in the relevant places, even in “Panel View”?

The “drag down to close” gesture is not available in “Panels View”, but if you tap in the middle of the screen, you should get the readers’ menu that will give you access to Settings and Library without having to switch to the “Default” reader.
